"I didn’t find the guitar early—but when I did, I bent every string until it sang my story.”

Abrar

Some journeys start with noise; his began with poetry. In the early ‘90s, MTV aired Joe Satriani’s Always With Me, Always With You—and something clicked. A young poet with a melodic heart suddenly saw sound take shape, and the electric guitar became more than just an instrument—it became destiny. Abrar didn’t start playing until the age of 23, long after most people had given up on dreams. Friends doubted him. Family dismissed it as a phase. But what they called obsession, he turned into precision. With no internet, no mentors, and very little gear, he taught himself to play complex instrumental rock by ear, eventually developing his own style, tone, and even gear—from handmade pickups to custom guitars. Today, Abrar's not just a guitarist, but a mentor, luthier, and living proof that it’s never too late to create a sound that’s truly your own
