Mumbai, India
“When the world doubted my path, I tuned my strings tighter and played louder—because music listens, even when people don’t.”
He was only six when the guitar entered his life—not by choice, but by a mother's firm hand and a father's amused observation that their little boy strutted like a rockstar whenever the TV blared guitar solos. Dragged to lessons he didn’t ask for, he practiced under the stern gaze of a teacher six decades older, learning scales for years while songs remained out of reach. But somewhere along the way, something shifted. At nineteen, with calloused fingers and a heart drawn to Indian classical, he met his Guru, Ustad Rafique Khan. That encounter rewrote his destiny. Against all odds—and defying society, family expectations, and discouraging voices—he chose the harder road. Today, with drone strings added to his guitar and ragas flowing through steel strings, he stands as a living bridge between tradition and innovation, inspiring a new generation to dream differently.
